Does alcohol have a corrosive effect on seals

Can we use silicone rubber sealing O-rings to seal alcohol liquids? Will alcohol corrode silicone rubber seals? Silicone rubber seals are used to seal alcohol, and there will be no reaction between them.

Silicone rubber seals are introduced as a highly reactive adsorbent material. Silicone is a highly reactive adsorbent material, usually containing sodium silicate and sulfuric acid, which is made through a series of post-treatment processes, such as aging and acid soaking. Silicone is an amorphous substance, insoluble in water and any solvent, non-toxic and odorless, chemically stable, and does not react with any substance other than strong bases and hydrofluoric acid. Alcohol is a colorless, transparent, volatile, flammable and non-conductive liquid. When the alcohol concentration is 70%, it has a strong bactericidal effect on bacteria. Therefore, for some medical silicone rubber seals that are only FDA approved, they are generally stored at high temperature with alcohol or saline disinfection.

This shows that alcohol will not corrode the silicone rubber seal O-ring and will not cause any damage to the silicone rubber seal.
